ATD Fourth World's work in Europe has been inspired by anti-poverty work in Ireland since the 1970s. Through contacts and exchanges over the years, and a presence in Dublin since 1999, ATD Fourth World is working with individuals, families and communities, and with other organisations involved with them, to give a voice to people and families facing persistent poverty, not only as victims of injustice but as activists in the fight against poverty and social exclusion and in the defence of human rights.
