The Children’s Rights Alliance unites over 100 members working together to make Ireland one of the best places in the world to be a child.
We change the lives of all children by making sure that their rights are respected and protected in our laws, policies and services. We identify problems for children. We develop solutions. We educate and provide information on children’s rights. We unite our members and put pressure on Government to put children first.
We are currently recruiting for the role of Communications and Membership Officer.
The Communications and Membership Officer is a vital member of the Communications and Development Team. The Team is responsible for the roll-out of two key strategies:
- A Communications Strategy, enabling the organisation to be strategic in its communications activities and
- A Membership Strategy to ensure that support for the Alliance among its more than 100 members is strong.
The successful candidate will be educated to third level, have at least two years’ experience in a communications role and experience of maintaining a website and dealing with the media. It is desirable that they have good IT proficiency, experience of online communications and / or of working in a membership organisation.
This is a full-time role. This is a 2.5 year temporary contract position. The contract is subject to a six month probationary period.
