The Children’s Rights Alliance welcomes the invitation to submit its views to the Law Reform Commission in relation to its consultation on Children and the Law: Medical Treatment. We commend the Law Reform Commission for producing such a comprehensive and considered document. In particular, the Alliance welcomes the initiative taken by the Law Reform Commission in consulting widely with children as part of its process in drafting the Consultation Paper.
