As a youth organisation, supporting this type of initiative is a positive way of promoting integration and equality among young people from diverse background (Irish & Non Irish).
IACI is a national network of African Children established in 2003 with the aim of supporting the integration needs of African Children and their families now living in Ireland.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF CONFERENCE
- To give young people (from the immigrant and Irish community) the opportunity to dialogue on issues that affects them.
- To provide an opportunity for discussion, and recommendation on Cultural diversity etc from young peoples point of view
- To create the awareness and understanding of different culture.
- To create an on going platform for dialogue on matters arising
