Within the confines of the presidential role, support the holding of a constitutional amendment to strengthen children’s rights. This will ensure that:
children’s best interests are put at the heart of decisions concerning them; children’s voices are heard in decisions affecting them; every child is provided with equal protection, regardless of their parents’ marital status; and roadblocks are removed to allow for child-centred adoption and child care legislation.
