CASE OF S. AND MARPER v. THE UNITED KINGDOM

Violation of Article 8 (right to respect for private and family life) of the European Convention on Human Rights in respect of the retention of the applicants' fingerprint and DNA data.
One of the applicants was a minor and the Court drew on Article 40 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the special position of minors in the criminal justice sphere.
