The Children’s Rights Alliance unites over 100 members working together to make Ireland one of the best places in the world to be a child.
We change the lives of all children by making sure that their rights are respected and protected in our laws, policies and services. We identify problems for children. We develop solutions. We educate and provide information on children’s rights. We unite our members and put pressure on Government to put children first.
We are currently recruiting a Head of Governance and Finance.
The Children’s Rights Alliance won the 2017 Good Governance Award for Category 2 (income over €250,000) and to maintain this high standard we are creating a new role. The Head of Governance and Finance will support the Chief Executive to lead and manage the Children’s Rights Alliance’s governance, human resource and finance functions.
The successful candidate will have at least three years’ experience of a manager role and excellent knowledge of best practice in and reporting requirements in finance and governance. They will also have knowledge of good employment practices for a small company or organisation.
This is a three-day a week position with a three-year temporary contract. The contract is subject to a six month probationary period.
